Preview Roundups
February 10, 2018
Buffalo at Boston 7:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins are showing no signs of slowing down as they continue to inch closer to both first place in the Atlantic Division and the best overall record in the league. Winners of four straight and nine of their last 10 games, the rampaging Bruins host the Eastern Conference-worst Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night.
Ottawa at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
The Ottawa Senators may be looking toward the long haul as it relates to giving general manager Pierre Dorion a three-year contract extension on Friday, but that doesn't apply to their recent dominance at the Air Canada Centre. The Senators bid to win their sixth in a row at the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday when the provincial rivals conclude their four-game season series.
Nashville at Montreal 7:00 PM ET
All-Star defenseman P.K. Subban returns to the Bell Centre for the second time since being traded to Music City as the Nashville Predators conclude a four-game road trip against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. Subban scored twice in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa to increase his point total to 25 (11 goals, 14 assists) in his past 24 games.
Los Angeles at Tampa Bay 7:00 PM ET
Nikita Kucherov put an 11-game goal-scoring drought behind him last time out and looks to get on a roll again when the NHL-best Tampa Bay Lightning host the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Kucherov recorded a goal and an assist in Thursday’s 5-2 victory over Vancouver and has notched four of his league-leading 68 points in his last three games.
New Jersey at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
Taylor Hall looks to extend his point streak to 13 games when the New Jersey Devils visit the slumping Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday in a matchup of teams battling for playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Hall has collected eight goals and 10 assists during his 12-game run that is tied for the longest in the league this season (Boston's David Pastrnak, Nov. 22-Dec. 18).
Colorado at Carolina 8:00 PM ET
If the Colorado Avalanche hope to qualify for the postseason, they'll have to step up their game on the road. Colorado seeks just its second win in its last seven on the road when it continues a three-game trek Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Philadelphia at Arizona 8:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia Flyers hope their good fortune travels well as they leave the festive confines of the City of Brotherly Love to embark on a two-game road trip, beginning Saturday against the Arizona Coyotes. The Flyers have won two straight since the Eagles won Super Bowl LII, but they fell for the fourth straight time to the Coyotes with a 4-3 overtime loss on Oct. 30.
Chicago at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild seemingly faced a gimme in their last game, only to unravel when the league's worst team refused to concede what appeared to be a certain victory. Minnesota will attempt to rebound from a stunning overtime loss to Arizona when it continues a five-game homestand against the reeling Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.
Edmonton at San Jose 10:00 PM ET
The San Jose Sharks attempt to reclaim second place in the Pacific Division on Saturday as they look to avoid a third straight overall loss when they host the Edmonton Oilers. San Jose, which fell to third in the division with Los Angeles' victory Friday, has allowed a total of 16 goals while dropping three in a row at home (0-2-1).
