Preview Roundups
February 04, 2019
Anaheim at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
The Toronto Maple Leafs appear to be still finding their legs since returning from the All-Star break and league-mandated bye, with their high-octane offense mustering just five goals in two games. The Maple Leafs have a chance to stretch those legs heading into Monday's game against the visiting Anaheim Ducks, who fell for the 15th time in 17 outings (2-11-4) after a 9-3 shellacking in their last outing.
Los Angeles at NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers put forth a spirited effort versus the front-runner for the Presidents' Trophy before falling short in the opener of their season-high five-game homestand. The Rangers bid to rebound on Monday when they host the sputtering Los Angeles Kings, who have dropped seven of their last 11 contests to reside in the cellar of the Western Conference.
Vancouver at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
While celebrated rookie Carter Hart is receiving his fair share of credit for the Philadelphia Flyers' turnaround, a now potent power play has packed a punch during the last two contests. The resurgent Flyers look to push their season-high winning streak to eight when they play the second contest of their five-game homestand on Monday versus the Vancouver Canucks.
Arizona at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The Dallas Stars have solidified their playoff position in the Western Conference with a strong run of defense and look to extend their winning streak to a season-high five games when the improving Arizona Coyotes pay a visit Monday night. The Stars are third in the Central Division and own a six-point cushion for a playoff spot after allowing just four goals while winning the last four, following Saturday’s 3-1 triumph at Nashville.
