The Charlotte Hornets will try to avoid matching their longest losing streak of the season when they carry a four-game slide into a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. The Hornets fell 104-102 in overtime against Oklahoma City on Friday, starting slow before rallying to force the extra session and then running out of steam in another inconsistent effort.

The New Orleans Pelicans are suddenly hot and are enjoying their first three-game winning streak in over a month after knocking off the Indiana Pacers 120-98 at home on Saturday. The Pelicans will try to sweep the two-game homestand and win four straight for the first time in 2019-20 when they host the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

Nikola Jokic's recent hot streak is keeping the Denver Nuggets in the win column, and his fourth triple-double in nine games on Saturday led the team to its eighth win in that span. The Nuggets will try to stay sharp when they finish off a three-game homestand by hosting the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

Their sudden four-game losing streak now a thing of the past, the Los Angeles Lakers set their sights on building momentum at home when they open a five-game homestand against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Kyle Kuzma led a balanced attack with 24 points and LeBron James added 21 along with a season high-tying 16 assists as the Lakers picked up a 128-120 win at Portland on Saturday.
