Preview Roundups
December 09, 2019
L.A. Clippers at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers look to continue their ascent in the Eastern Conference with five of the next six games at home, starting with a visit from the road-weary Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. The Pacers rebounded from only their second loss in nine games by surviving a challenge from the reeling New York Knicks on the road Saturday, before earning a 104-103 victory.
Cleveland at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to take small steps forward but find themselves taking very large steps back of late. The Cavaliers will try to bounce back from a 47-point loss when they visit the Boston Celtics in the second of a two-game trip on Monday.
Toronto at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors are struggling through their first three-game losing streak in more than a year, a slide they'll try to end Monday when they visit the Chicago Bulls. Despite getting floor general Kyle Lowry back from a thumb injury three games ago, the Raptors have sustained consecutive losses to Miami, Houston and Philadelphia.
Sacramento at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets will try to push their winning streak to three games and their home run to four in a row when they host the Sacramento Kings on Monday. After an impressive 10-point win at Toronto on Thursday, the Rockets returned home to knock off the Phoenix Suns 115-109 on Saturday night.
Orlando at Milwaukee 8:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks are riding a 14-game winning streak and are coming off their most impressive victory of the bunch - a 119-91 stomping of the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The Bucks will try to make it 15 straight and pull within one of tying the franchise-record winning streak when they host the Orlando Magic on Monday.
Detroit at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans dropped their eighth consecutive game on Saturday and seem to be getting further away from the win column. The Pelicans will try to bounce back from the 130-84 loss at Dallas when they return home to host the Detroit Pistons on Monday.
Minnesota at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The Phoenix Suns aim for their first home win in nearly a month when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. The Suns capped a 2-2 road trip with a 115-119 loss at Houston on Saturday but took some comfort in pushing the high-powered Rockets to the wire.
Oklahoma City at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz are feeling a bit better about themselves as they complete a three-game homestand Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Utah defeated Memphis 126-112 on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak with their second victory in seven games after holding the Grizzlies to 18 second-quarter points.
Memphis at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors avoided going winless on a five-game road trip by winning the finale at the Chicago Bulls on Friday and will try to pick on another downtrodden foe when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. The Warriors own two of their five wins against Chicago and earned a 114-95 victory at Memphis on Nov. 19.
