Preview Roundups
October 29, 2017
Milwaukee at Atlanta 3:30 PM ET
The Atlanta Hawks played five games in a row on the road to begin the season and did not find home all that comforting when they finally returned on Friday. The Hawks will try to earn their first home win in their second opportunity when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
San Antonio at Indiana 4:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs' undefeated start is a thing of the past after a 114-87 loss at the Orlando Magic on Friday night, and the lack of two veterans may be starting to catch up to the team. The Spurs will try to bounce back when they continue the four-game road trip by visiting the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
Denver at Brooklyn 6:00 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets look to remain unbeaten at home and recover from a disappointing road effort when they host the up-and-down Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. The Nets knocked off three-time defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland on Wednesday before laying an egg two days later in a 107-86 setback against the previously-winless New York Knicks.
Orlando at Charlotte 6:00 PM ET
The Orlando Magic are in the running for most improved team over the first 10 days of the season and are coming off their most impressive win - 114-87 over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. The Magic, who have yet to score fewer than 114 points, will try to build upon that triumph and push the winning streak to four straight when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
Washington at Sacramento 6:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards aren't having very much fun yet on the west coast portion of their road trip after back-to-back losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors by a total of six points. The Wizards will try to finish the four-game trip off with a win when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
New York at Cleveland 7:00 PM ET
A fast start appeared likely for the Cleveland Cavaliers after defeating two Eastern Conference powers to begin the season, but a complete lack of defense has been the primary culprit in their surprising lack of success since. The Cavaliers return home Sunday to face the New York Knicks, and hope to stop a stretch in which they have dropped three of four contests.
Detroit at Golden State 8:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors may be in the midst of a three-game winning streak, but uncharacteristic mistakes and early exits from some of the best players over the last week have resulted in less than dominant play from the defending champions. The Warriors attempt to wrap up a perfect three-game homestand Sunday when they host the Detroit Pistons.
