Preview Roundups
March 12, 2018
San Antonio at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs are in danger of falling outside the Western Conference playoff picture and their rough road doesn't get any easier with a visit to the NBA-best Houston Rockets on Monday. Losers of 10 of their last 13, the Spurs - who own the longest active playoff streak in major U.S. sports at 20 years - are in seventh place in the West and just a half-game up on a hard-charging trio of teams.
Milwaukee at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks went through a bit of a rough patch with losses in six of seven while facing stiff competition, but the schedule is lightening up a bit. The Bucks began a stretch of four straight against losing teams with a 120-112 win over the New York Knicks on Friday and will try to make it two in a row when they visit the NBA-worst Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
Sacramento at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Oklahoma City Thunder have an excellent opportunity to claim their second three-game winning streak since the All-Star break when they host the Sacramento Kings on Monday. After dropping the opener of their four-game homestand to Western Conference-leading Houston, the Thunder have taken back-to-back games against Phoenix and San Antonio while allowing an average of 90.5 points.
Miami at Portland 10:30 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers are using a lengthy winning streak to put a little separation between themselves and the rest of the pack in the Western Conference and don't intend to slip back. The Trail Blazers will try to run the winning streak to 10 in a row when they host the Miami Heat on Monday.
