Preview Roundups
February 08, 2020
Milwaukee at Orlando 5:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks are good enough that they didn't seriously wade into an active trade deadline on Thursday and went out that night and added to their NBA-best record by rolling past the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bucks will try to push their latest winning streak to four straight when they visit the struggling Orlando Magic on Saturday.
Dallas at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks saw the front end of a road back-to-back result in a heartbreaking last-second loss. They'll try for a quick bounceback when they wrap up the double dip at the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.
New York at Detroit 7:00 PM ET
The Detroit Pistons lost their first game since shipping away star center Andre Drummond at the trade deadline. They'll look for their first victory in the post-Drummond era on Saturday when they open a two-game homestand against the New York Knicks.
New Orleans at Indiana 7:30 PM ET
Rookie forward Zion Williamson continues to make an impact for the New Orleans Pelicans. Williamson aims for his seventh 20-point outing in nine career games when the Pelicans visit the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
Brooklyn at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors look to extend their franchise-record winning streak to 14 games when they host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday. The last two victories were in a home-and home against the Indiana Pacers, including Friday's 115-106 road victory.
L.A. Clippers at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Timberwolves are in the worst slump in the league at the moment and made some dramatic moves in front of the NBA trade deadline on Thursday they hope will spark the team the rest of this season and into the future. The Timberwolves hope to have newly acquired point guard D'Angelo Russell available when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
L.A. Lakers at Golden State 8:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers own the best record in the Western Conference and stayed out of the fray during the trade deadline madness on Thursday while the NBA-worst Golden State Warriors were one of the most active participants. The two teams on opposite ends of the standings will square off when the Warriors host the Lakers on Saturday.
Denver at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets look to complete a four-game season sweep of Phoenix when they visit the Suns on Saturday. The first three meetings weren't all easy as the Nuggets won one game by two points and another by one in overtime.
San Antonio at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
The annual Rodeo Road Trip has not been kind to the San Antonio Spurs this time around, and they'll aim for their first victory of the stretch when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. After sweeping a two-game homestand, the Spurs have lost the first three legs of the eight-game trip, including Thursday's 125-117 setback in Portland.
