NY Mets at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The latest edition of the Subway Series could not get off the ground Monday due to a rain-soaked New York City, but the rival Mets and Yankees will make up for it with a day-night doubleheader Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. The Bronx Bombers entered Monday tied for first in the American League East after salvaging the finale of a 2-4 road trip at Cleveland on Sunday.

Arizona at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies didn't wait until next month to participate in the Home Run Derby, as the former belted a franchise-best eight and the teams combined for 13 to set a Major League Baseball record in the series opener. The Diamondbacks aim to continue their recent mastery in Philadelphia on Tuesday when they play the second contest of the three-game set versus the Phillies.
Toronto at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles staggered to a major league-worst 115 losses a year ago and are tied for the worst record in baseball this season, but they have one attainable goal when they open a six-game homestand against the reeling Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night. Buried in the American League East cellar, the Orioles are only three games behind reeling fourth-place Toronto.
Texas at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox wasted another gem by ace Chris Sale as they continue to struggle on their homestand. They'll try to bounce back from a painful loss on an emotional night at Fenway Park when they continue a four-game set with the visiting Texas Rangers on Tuesday.
Oakland at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
Brandon Lowe hardly cuts an imposing figure at 6 feet and 185 pounds, but that hasn't stopped the 24-year-old from flexing his muscles at the plate throughout much of the season. After belting his third homer in his last two contests, Lowe looks to lower the boom once again on Tuesday when the Tampa Bay Rays vie for a series victory over the visiting Oakland Athletics.
Cincinnati at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians have, for the most part, acquitted themselves well against some of the league's better teams while slipping up against lesser-tier competition. Coming off consecutive series victories over a pair of American League division leaders, the Indians will wrap up an eight-game homestand with the first of two against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night.
St. Louis at Miami 7:10 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals' road struggles have lasted for over a month, making this week a good time for them to return to a city they have enjoyed visiting over the previous four-plus seasons. The Cardinals continue their three-game series Tuesday in search of their 13th road victory over the Miami Marlins in 16 attempts.
Pittsburgh at Atlanta 7:20 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves enter Tuesday’s home contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates after several players came through with big offensive performances in Monday’s 13-7 victory, but nobody needed a boost more than Nick Markakis. The veteran right fielder, who entered the week hitting just .186 since May 7 with seven RBIs, finished 4-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs - including the 1,000th of his career - as Atlanta pulled into a tie with first-place Philadelphia in the National League East.
Milwaukee at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros, runaway leaders of the American League West, step into interleague play when they host the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in the first contest of a two-game set. Houston has won five straight series and is 10-0-1 in its last 11 sets despite missing key regulars such as George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa after taking two of three from Baltimore over the weekend.
Washington at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
Patrick Corbin looks to bounce back from two straight shaky outings when the Washington Nationals visit the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday for the finale of their two-game interleague series. Corbin pitched a total of 7 2/3 innings in consecutive setbacks against Cincinnati and San Diego.
Seattle at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
The best run differential in the majors entering the week does not belong to presumed American League contenders like the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox or Houston Astros or even the National League powerhouse Los Angeles Dodgers, but to the Minnesota Twins. The Twins, who finished six games under .500 with a negative run differential last season, will try to keep their pace as one of the best in the game when they host the Seattle Mariners for the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday.
Detroit at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers and the Kansas City Royals are both in rebuilding mode and looking to stay out of the basement in the American League Central. The Tigers are holding the Royals off for now and will try to continue to stay a step ahead when they visit Kansas City for the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday.
Chi. Cubs at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies aim to post their 10th consecutive home victory when they host the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game set. The Rockies rallied for a 6-5 win in the series opener - their 11th triumph on 15 overall games.
San Diego at San Francisco 9:45 PM ET
The San Diego Padres, who are trying to remain relevant in the National League wild-card race, hit the road for six games against NL West rivals with a pair against the San Francisco Giants beginning Tuesday. San Diego (33-33) has lost nine of its last 14 games after a 4-6 homestand concluded with a pair of losses to Washington - 5-2 in the finale when the Nationals belted four straight home runs in the eighth inning.
LA Dodgers at LA Angels 10:07 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels were able to bide their time in the series opener before taking advantage of the Los Angeles Dodgers' bullpen en route to a 5-3 victory. The Angels look to complete a sweep of the two-game interleague set when they host the Dodgers on Tuesday.
