Chi. White Sox at Cleveland 1:10 PM ET
Jose Ramirez was sporting a wide smile and a wet jersey, with both the result of his game-winning two-run homer with two outs in the ninth inning of his last outing. The light-hitting Cleveland Indians hope both are back on display on Thursday afternoon, when they conclude their four-game series versus the visiting Chicago White Sox.
LA Angels at Detroit 1:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels have answered a sterling 6-1 stretch by hemorrhaging runs in three of their last four contests. After surrendering 36 runs in that stretch, the Angels aim to regain their composure on Thursday afternoon as they vie for a series victory in the rubber match of the three-game set against the host Detroit Tigers.
Miami at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs aim for their seventh straight series win when they host the Miami Marlins on Thursday in the finale of a four-game set. The hot stretch began with a three-game sweep at Miami in mid-April and the Cubs improved to 5-1 against the Marlins with a 3-2 victory in 11 innings Wednesday night.
San Francisco at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies look to begin turning things around against National League West foes when they host the San Francisco Giants on Thursday afternoon for the finale of their rain-shortened, two-game series. The Rockies dropped to 4-9 against division rivals with Tuesday's 14-4 setback against the Giants - their third loss in four overall games - before Wednesday's scheduled contest was postponed by rain.
Cincinnati at Oakland 3:37 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics vie for a sweep of their interleague series when they host the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday afternoon for the finale of the three-game set. Mike Fiers tossed his second career no-hitter in the opener and Stephen Piscotty led off the 13th inning on Wednesday with his fifth homer for a 5-4 victory.
Seattle at NY Yankees 6:35 PM ET
In dire need of a victory, the slumping Seattle Mariners unleashed a lot of frustration to finally end a string of futility against one of their biggest nemesis. After ending a seven-game losing streak at Yankee Stadium with a 10-1 drubbing on Wednesday night, the Mariners have a chance to salvage a split of the four-game series against the New York Yankees on Thursday night.
Pittsburgh at St. Louis 7:45 PM ET
Just as the Pittsburgh Pirates appeared to be heading into a crucial 11-game road trip with a head of steam, a meltdown by their bullpen led to a crushing defeat that stalled their momentum. The Pirates must regroup and try to figure out how to solve a National League Central rival in the process when they play the first of four at the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday night.
Texas at Houston 8:10 PM ET
Joey Gallo has overcome his issues with Houston's pitching staff this season and looks to be productive again when the Texas Rangers open a four-series against the host Astros on Thursday. Gallo is 7-for-17 with two homers and nine RBIs in six contests versus Houston, which won four of the meetings.
Atlanta at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
After being swept for the third time this season, the Atlanta Braves look to get untracked Thursday when they begin a four-game series against the host Arizona Diamondbacks. Atlanta opened its 10-game road trip with three victories in Miami before being swept in three games and outscored 23-7 by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Washington at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers look for their 11th victory in 14 games when they open a four-game series against the visiting Washington Nationals on Thursday. Los Angeles racked up 23 runs in a three-game home sweep against Atlanta that concluded with Wednesday's 9-4 triumph.
