Kansas City at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays get ace Blake Snell back from a toe injury Wednesday, when they aim for a three-game sweep of the visiting Kansas City Royals. Snell was placed on the 10-day injured list after hurting the toe while moving a decorative display in his bathroom April 14.
Miami at Cleveland 1:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians entered their two-game interleague series with the visiting Miami Marlins with an American League-worst .215 batting average and did nothing to bolster that number by mustering only three hits in a 3-1 loss Tuesday night. The Indians will try to avoid a fourth straight defeat in Wednesday afternoon's matchup versus Miami.
Milwaukee at St. Louis 1:15 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals try for their fifth straight victory - and a three-game sweep of Milwaukee - when they host the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon. St. Louis prevailed 4-3 on Tuesday as shortstop Paul DeJong continued his torrid start by belting a tiebreaking home run leading off the eighth inning as part of a 2-for-4 night, giving him five homers, a club-most 21 runs scored and a .337 batting average this season.
Washington at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The Washington Nationals vie for a .500 road trip when they visit the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday afternoon in the rubber match of their three-game series. Washington received a big boost from center fielder Victor Robles, whose three-run double gave the Nationals the lead for good en route to a 6-3 victory Tuesday, putting them in position to win their third road series in four tries this season.
Texas at Oakland 3:37 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics appear to have found the cure for their offensive woes - the Texas Rangers' pitching staff. Oakland hopes to continue to feast on Texas' pitchers and complete a sweep when they host the Rangers on Wednesday afternoon for the finale of the three-game series.
Seattle at San Diego 3:40 PM ET
The San Diego Padres took a page from Seattle's playbook with a power display in the series opener and will look for a sweep of the brief two-game set when they host the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon. Franmil Reyes went deep twice in Tuesday’s 6-3 victory over Seattle, which began the series leading the majors in home runs.
San Francisco at Toronto 4:07 PM ET
Three weeks after he was traded from Toronto to San Francisco, Kevin Pillar made a triumphant return to the Rogers Centre backed by the best offensive performance from his teammates this season. After slugging a season-high four home runs, the Giants conclude an eight-game road trip with a chance to complete a two-game sweep of the Blue Jays on Wednesday afternoon.
Atlanta at Cincinnati 6:40 PM ET
Yasiel Puig struggled in his first 19 games with the Cincinnati Reds, compiling a .164 average with a .186 on-base percentage with 20 strikeouts in 67 at-bats. But the Reds enter Wednesday's middle contest of a three-game home series with the Atlanta Braves looking to lock up a series victory after a strong showing from their new right fielder, with Puig belting a two-run homer and plating a run with a sacrifice fly in Tuesday’s 7-6 victory.
Arizona at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates owned the best record in the National League as recently as last weekend, but their inability to defeat the Arizona Diamondbacks at home of late has taken that title from them. The Diamondbacks look to extend their eight-game winning streak in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, when they visit the Pirates for the third contest of their four-game series.
Chi. White Sox at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles gave their fans a rare treat by erupting for four homers en route to recording their second home win of the season. The Orioles will host the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday vying for their first series victory since winning both sets to begin their season-opening six-game road trip.
Detroit at Boston 7:10 PM ET
There was a sense that the Boston Red Sox had turned around their rocky start with a series sweep in Tampa Bay, but the positive vibes were short-lived. The Red Sox will try to recover from an ugly doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Detroit Tigers when the teams continue a four-game series Wednesday night.
Philadelphia at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have been showing more fire in their postgame interviews than they have on the field lately. With losses in five of their last six and getting outscored 18-2 in their last three, the slumping Phillies look to locate a spark and avert a series sweep by the host New York Mets on Wednesday night.
LA Dodgers at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs haven’t lost a series at home yet this season and will try to clinch another set when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday for the middle contest of their three-game series. The Cubs have won or split six straight home series dating to last campaign.

Minnesota at Houston 8:10 PM ET
Justin Verlander looks to remain unbeaten when the Houston Astros host the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday for the third contest of their four-game series. Verlander has allowed one run in each of his three victories to improve his record to 24-9 in 44 regular-season starts since joining the Astros late in the 2017 campaign.
NY Yankees at LA Angels 10:07 PM ET
CC Sabathia is six strikeouts away from becoming the 17th pitcher in baseball history to record 3,000 as he takes the mound for the New York Yankees against the host Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday in the third contest of their four-game series. Sabathia is looking to join Randy Johnson (4,875) and Steve Carlton (4,136) as the only left-handers to reach the historic milestone.
