Seattle at Chi. White Sox 2:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners are off to a franchise-record 7-1 start as they visit the White Sox on Friday in Chicago's home opener. Seattle opened the season with a pair of victories in Japan over Oakland before beginning the North American portion of its schedule by taking five of six from Boston and the Los Angeles Angels with a trio of newcomers largely responsible for the club's early success.
LA Dodgers at Colorado 4:10 PM ET
Despite the absence of ace left-hander and three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw, the Los Angeles Dodgers are off to a fast start and sitting atop the National League West. After going 5-2 on a season-opening seven-game homestand, the Dodgers will play their next seven on the road beginning with Friday afternoon's visit to the Colorado Rockies.
San Diego at St. Louis 4:15 PM ET
After collecting five singles in his first 27 plate appearances, Manny Machado finally announced his arrival for the San Diego Padres with a two-run blast in Wednesday’s 4-1 victory over Arizona. Machado appears to be settling in fine with his new team, which begins an 10-game road trip Friday with the first of three games against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Tampa Bay at San Francisco 4:35 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays won five of seven games against a pair of 2018 playoff teams to open the season at home and now they hit the road for the next nine, starting with the first of three against the San Francisco Giants on Friday. The Rays have allowed 11 runs - six in the past six contests - after falling 1-0 in 11 innings against Colorado on Wednesday afternoon, and their bullpen boasts a 0.64 ERA in 28 frames.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds have fallen on hard times offensively since a solid showing on Opening Day, so facing a rotation that has opened the season as sharp as the Pittsburgh Pirates' did not figure to go well for the former. After getting blanked for the third time already this season, the Reds attempt to end their five-game losing streak Friday, when they visit the Pirates for the second contest of their four-game series.
Minnesota at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins have been keeping scoreboard operators busy to begin the season, with the former totaling 39 runs in the first five contests while the latter has 21 during its three-game winning streak. The Phillies will begin a six-game homestand on Friday with the opener of a three-game interleague series versus the Twins.
Toronto at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays were expected to struggle in 2019 after committing to a youth movement, but even their most loyal supporters have to be disappointed with how poorly their offense has performed over the first week of the season. The Blue Jays attempt to bounce back from another lackluster effort at the plate on Friday, when they visit the Cleveland Indians for the second contest of their four-game series.
Boston at Arizona 7:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks have thrived at the plate in the early going but a mound of pitching troubles has saddled them with a 3-4 record as they play their home opener Friday against the World Series champion Boston Red Sox. Arizona has plenty of pop with 41 runs scored but has yielded 54 (50 earned), and its 7.14 ERA is the highest in baseball.
Miami at Atlanta 7:20 PM ET
No team in the National League won a fewer amount of games on the road last season than the Miami Marlins, who find themselves riding a three-game losing streak as they begin a series against the host Atlanta Braves on Friday. The Marlins went 25-55 away from home in 2018 and, after opening this campaign with a 2-5 homestand, visit Atlanta and Cincinnati on their six-game trek after allowing six or more runs five times in its first seven contests.
Oakland at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros hope to get their bats going after a disappointing road trip to begin the season when they face the American League West-rival Oakland Athletics on Friday in their home opener. Houston has scored just 10 runs over its last six games after recording five in the season-opening win at Tampa Bay and is batting a major league-worst .095 with runners in scoring position during its 2-5 start.
Chi. Cubs at Milwaukee 8:10 PM ET

It’s too early to panic, but concern certainly is mounting for the Chicago Cubs after a 1-5 start marked by sloppy defense and a leaky bullpen. Now the Cubs visit a Milwaukee Brewers team that has started on the opposite track and will try to continue its hot play during a three-game series that begins on Friday.

Texas at LA Angels 10:07 PM ET
The Texas Rangers turned on the power in the first inning of the series opener and never looked back, posting their third straight victory and fifth in six games. Texas hopes to continue its streak when it visits the Los Angeles Angels on Friday for the second contest of their four-game series.
