Jamie Drysdale scored 3:26 into overtime as the visiting Anaheim Ducks rallied for a 3-2 victory over the Calgary Flames on Monday night.

On a two-on-one, the Ducks' Troy Terry slid a pass past Flames star Johnny Gaudreau, and Drysdale buried the winner.

Down 2-1, Anaheim tied the game when a wide-open Rickard Rakell took a pass from Adam Henrique and drilled the puck past Calgary goaltender Jacob Markstrom (24 saves) with 7:05 left in regulation.

The Ducks, who got 41 saves from John Gibson, then killed off a Calgary power play within the final four minutes of the third period. Cam Fowler also scored for Anaheim, which has won two of three to open the season.

Blake Coleman and Elias Lindholm each had a goal while Gaudreau recorded two assists for the Flames, who have dropped their first two games of the season.

Calgary opened the scoring 7:43 into the contest when it took advantage of a bad bounce of the puck over the stick of Anaheim's Hampus Lindholm. Coleman, who helped Tampa Bay win each of the past two Stanley Cups, took advantage. Off a pass from Gaudreau, Coleman found himself streaking alone with the puck and was able to beat Gibson for a goal in his Flames debut.

Anaheim tied the game later in the period with its fourth power-play goal of the young season. Fowler, from the circle, drove the puck past Markstrom with just over four minutes to play in the opening frame.

The Flames took the lead back 3:52 into the second period. The Ducks had trouble clearing their own zone, and Elias Lindholm eventually ripped a shot from the near circle for his second goal of the season and a 2-1 Calgary advantage.

Young and essentially rebuilding, Anaheim has allowed a whopping 120 shots on goal through the first three games of the season.
