Tyler Seguin, Mattias Janmark and Radek Faksa also scored goals, Blake Comeau and Ben Lovejoy had two assists each and Anton Khudobin made 27 saves for the Stars, who moved back into the top wild-card spot in the Western Conference standings.

Anze Kopitar had two goals and an assist for the Kings, who are one loss away from their longest losing streak in franchise history.

Brendan Leipsic also scored, and Jonathan Quick made 29 saves for Los Angeles.

Faksa tied the score at 3-3 at 9:53 of the third period. Quick made a stick save on Comeau's blast from the top of the right circle, but the rebound came out diagonally to Faksa, and he scored into the open side of the net.

Quick reached out with his stick to save a goal by Jason Dickinson with 4:41 left in the third period.

Kopitar gave Los Angeles a 3-2 lead at 11:46 of the second period.

After Khudobin made a save on Tyler Toffoli's shot from the slot, Hintz tried to sweep the puck away, but it went right to Kopitar and he scored on a one-timer.

Kopitar scored the first goal of the game at 7:57 of the first period, redirecting a centering pass from Sean Walker five seconds after he won a faceoff in the Dallas zone.

Los Angeles was on its first power play when Leipsic tried to get out of the way of a slap shot by teammate Drew Doughty, but it hit him in the leg and went past Khudobin for a 2-0 lead at 13:28 of the opening period.

Dallas cut the deficit to 2-1 on Seguin's team-leading 27th goal of the season at 14:48 of the first.

Dallas tied the score at 2-2 after a deflected puck went to Janmark in front of the net, and he backhanded it past Quick at 6:14 of the second period.
