Matt Duchene scored with 2:59 remaining in the third period to cap a three-goal rally, carrying the visiting Ottawa Senators past the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 on Tuesday night.

Brady Tkachuk had two goals and an assist while Thomas Chabot added a goal for the Senators.

Mark Stone and Colin White contributed two assists each for the Senators, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Senators goaltender Mike McKenna stopped 34 shots.

Jakub Voracek, Travis Konecny and Radko Gudas each scored one goal for the Flyers, who fell to 1-5-1 over their last seven games.

Ivan Provorov and Scott Laughton added two assists apiece. Goaltender Anthony Stolarz made 20 saves for the Flyers, who dismissed general manager Ron Hextall on Monday.

The Flyers got on the board first when Konecny scored at 4:23 of the opening period with a fiery slap shot.

But the lead was short-lived as the Senators tied the game at 1 when Chabot connected at 5:51.

Nolan Patrick nearly put the Flyers ahead but was stymied by McKenna in the final couple seconds of the first to keep the game tied at 1.

Voracek put the Flyers ahead 2-1 with a wrist shot at 3:22 of the second for his sixth goal of the season.

The Senators continued to turn the puck over in their own end, and the Flyers took advantage when Gudas scored at 6:00 for a two-goal lead at 3-1.

Ottawa couldn't capitalize on a late power play and had only 15 shots on goal through the first two periods.

The Flyers' defense was stingy as they allowed only two Ottawa shots on goal through the first 10 minutes of the third period. From there, the Senators dominated.

Tkachuk got the Senators within 3-2 when he tapped home a rebound at 11:32. He then tied the game at 3 with his second goal of the game and ninth of the season at 13:26.

Duchene completed the comeback by swatting the puck out of the air for a 4-3 advantage at 17:01.
