Boston goaltender Jaroslav Halak stopped 37 shots to win for the second straight night, and David Pastrnak scored his NHL-leading 16th goal in the Bruins' 4-1 victory over the visiting Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday night.

Danton Heinen, Jeremy Lauzon and Brad Marchand also scored goals for the Bruins, who wrapped up a four-game homestand with their third win.

With No. 1 goalie Tuukka Rask out after being granted a leave of absence on Friday, Halak recorded 40 saves Saturday night in Boston's 5-1 thrashing of Toronto and was back at it against Vegas.

Boston coach Bruce Cassidy said before the game that the club will meet Monday with Rask, adding that he suspects the Finnish goalie will travel with the Bruins when they leave Monday on a four-game road trip.

Cody Eakin scored for the Golden Knights, who have lost five of their last seven and remain winless in Boston.

Malcolm Subban, a first-round Boston draft pick in 2012, made 33 saves in his fourth game. Vegas claimed Subban last October after the Bruins placed him on waivers.

Subban recorded his first NHL win in Vegas last year against the Bruins, but his former club tallied twice on him in the first period in his return to Boston.

Heinen, who went scoreless in his first 12 games, scored his second goal in three contests when he tapped in a slick pass from Anders Bjork through the crease at 2:54.

Recalled Sunday to play in place of Brandon Carlo on the blue line, Lauzon scored his first NHL goal into an empty net at 17:51 when Subban came out to play a carom and failed to reach it before the defenseman.

Just as a power play that carried over into the second period ended, Marchand camped out near the crease and popped in his sixth marker after Patrice Bergeron backhanded a pass into the low slot for a 3-0 lead just 58 seconds in.

Alex Tuch made a steal near the offensive zone and fed a pass to Eakin for his fifth goal at 10:55 to put the Golden Knights on the board.

Pastrnak, who also had an assist, one-timed a pass from Torey Krug on Boston's third 5-on-3 power play at 16:08 for the final margin.
