Brock Nelson scored two goals as the New York Islanders routed the host Philadelphia Flyers 6-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Robin Lehner made 22 saves to earn the win, improving his record to 3-2-1 this season.

Leo Komarov, Anthony Beauvillier, Adam Pelech and Anders Lee also scored for the Islanders, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Nelson leads the Islanders with five goals this season.

Jori Lehtera picked up a loose puck and scored unassisted for the Flyers, who have lost three straight games, including two of those at home.

Goalie Michal Neuvirth, who won 38 games for the Flyers the past three years, made his season debut in a losing effort. After missing the start of the season due to a hip injury, Neuvirth made 16 stops against the Islanders.

Neuvirth got off to a rough start as New York opened the scoring with 11:38 expired in the first period. Pelech took a slap shot from the left point, and Komalov -- camped in front of the net -- scored on a deflection.

The Islanders made it 2-0 with 13:20 gone in the first period. Mathew Barzal made a drop pass to Jordan Eberle, who passed to a streaking Beauvillier on the left wing. Beauvillier snapped the puck home.

New York made it 3-0 at 4:58 into the second. Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield got the puck out of his zone and ahead to Lee, who fed Josh Bailey. From there, it was a 2-on-1 rush, and Nelson took Bailey's perfect pass and scored on an open left side of the net.

Lehtera's first goal of the season, which came with 13:32 left in the second period, sliced Philadelphia's deficit to 3-1.

But that was all the offense mustered by the Flyers, who have scored just two goals in the past three games.

New York put the game away with three goals in the third period, from Pelech, Nelson and Lee.
