Blue Jackets 6, Canucks 2: Marko Dano collected two goals and an assist while fellow rookie Alexander Wennberg recorded one of each as visiting Columbus skated to its sixth victory in eight games.

Scott Hartnell scored to extend his point streak to six games for the Blue Jackets, who won in Vancouver for the first time since Oct. 5, 2009. Cam Atkinson converted on the power play, Rene Bourque also tallied and Sergei Bobrovsky finished with 38 saves.

Rookie Bo Horvat and Daniel Sedin scored 40 seconds apart early in the second period for the Canucks, who are clinging to a one-point lead over third-place Calgary in the Pacific Division. Eddie Lack yielded five goals on 30 shots before being relieved by Jacob Markstrom (two saves) in the third period.

Mark Letestu's wrist shot from the point during a power play was tipped in the high slot by Atkinson, sending the puck off Vancouver defenseman Alex Edler's skate and between the pads of Lack with 1:42 remaining in the second period to give Columbus a 3-2 lead. Dano completed his first career two-goal performance at 5:31 of the third, depositing a shot past Lack after Wennberg's attempt bounced off the high glass.

Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson's pass caromed off the stick of Letestu and right to Horvat, who wristed a shot past Bobrovsky three minutes into the middle session to open the scoring. Sedin scored from a sharp angle along the right post, but Bourque's blast from above the left faceoff circle sailed under Lack's glove at 7:04 and Dano scored from the slot three minutes later to forge a 2-2 tie.
