Wild 3, Predators 2 (OT):
Defenseman Matt Dumba one-timed a feed from Zach Parise past Pekka Rinne 22 seconds into overtime to lift visiting Minnesota over Nashville.

Charlie Coyle scored twice in regulation for the Wild, who improved to 6-2-0 in March and remained three points ahead of Winnipeg in the race for the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Devan Dubnyk made 25 saves for his 21st victory with Minnesota.

Defenseman Roman Josi scored two goals just 45 seconds apart in the second period for the Predators, who dropped their fifth consecutive home contest. Rinne stopped 18 shots for Nashville, which fell one point behind first-place St. Louis in the Central Division.

Coyle knocked in a loose puck after defenseman Jordan Leopold’s shot trickled past Rinne with 58 seconds remaining in the first period. Josi blasted a one-timer from the slot off a pass from rookie Filip Forsberg to tie the game 13:41 into the second.

Josi scored again on the following play when his shot fooled Dubnyk after Viktor Stalberg found him with a cross-ice feed on a rush. Nashville’s lead held until Coyle fired a shot from the right faceoff circle over Rinne’s glove with 6:41 remaining in regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Nashville fell to 26-7-2 at home. … Dubnyk has made 28 straight starts for Minnesota. … Predators F James Neal missed his third game due to an upper-body injury.
