Wild 3, Blackhawks 0: Devan Dubnyk recorded his third shutout in eight contests with his new team while playing in his 200th career game as host Minnesota skated to its fourth consecutive victory.

Dubnyk finished with 24 saves and captain Mikko Koivu collected a goal and an assist for the Wild, who defeated Chicago for the first time in four meetings this season. Jason Zucker and Mikael Granlund also tallied while Zach Parise notched an assist - his ninth point in eight games.

Corey Crawford turned aside 40 shots for the Blackhawks, who were shut out for the second straight contest and have dropped five of eight since posting a 4-1 win over Minnesota on Jan. 11. Bryan Bickell, who recorded three goals and an assist in the previous three meetings with the Wild, registered a team-high five shots.

After turning aside nine shots in the first period, Dubnyk wasn't tested much over the final 40 minutes en route to his 12th career shutout and fourth of the season. The 28-year-old Saskatchewan native improved to 6-1-0 since being acquired from Arizona on Jan. 14.

Jason Pominville's initial attempt was denied and Chicago's Patrick Kane failed in his clearing bid before Koivu backhanded the puck home from the slot 7:40 into the contest to open the scoring. Zucker doubled the advantage 2:20 later, reeling in a stretch pass from defenseman Marco Scandella before tucking the puck past Crawford, and Granlund scored from the slot with 5:48 remaining in the second period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota unleashed a franchise-record 24 shots on goal in the second period. ... ... Scandella registered a career-best eight shots, tying Brent Burns (2011) and Jared Spurgeon (2014) for the franchise mark for a defenseman. ...
