Ducks 4, Jets 3 (OT): Kyle Palmieri scored 53 seconds into overtime as visiting Anaheim skated to its fourth consecutive victory.

Captain Ryan Getzlaf notched his third assist after setting up Palmieri, who wristed a sharp-angle shot from along the goal line that squeezed under the crossbar. The goal was Palmieri's fourth of the season and second career in overtime.

Ryan Kesler scored his third goal in two games and Jacob Silfverberg tallied for the second time in as many contests for the Ducks, who improved to 7-2-0 against Central Division representatives. Rene Bourque scored with the man advantage for his first goal of the season and Frederik Andersen finished with 27 saves.

Captain Andrew Ladd joined defenseman Jacob Trouba with a goal and an assist and Dustin Byfuglien scored for the fourth straight contest for the Jets, who dropped the finale of their three-game homestand. Blake Wheeler set up a goal for his fourth assist in two contests and Ondrej Pavelec turned aside 21 shots.

The teams traded power-play goals in the first period before Ladd cleaned up a rebound to give Winnipeg a 2-1 lead 1:33 into the second. Silfverberg answered three minutes later by deflecting defenseman Clayton Stoner's shot from the point and Kesler's one-timer at 8:53 staked the Ducks to a 3-2 lead, but Trouba settled his own rebound before backhanding the puck between the pads of Andersen with 4:45 left in the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Tempers flared with 11 seconds left in the second period as Winnipeg LW Evander Kane received a major for checking from behind and a game misconduct while Stoner was whistled for a two-minute roughing penalty. ... Stoner recorded his first point with his new team on Silfverberg's goal. ... Bourque's last tally was on March 22 with Montreal.
