Lightning 4, Senators 1: Alex Killorn and Ryan Callahan each recorded a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay pulled away from visiting Ottawa for its third consecutive victory.

Killorn extended his point streak to a career-high seven games and Callahan tallied for the sixth time in seven contests for the Lightning, who scored three in the third after entering the period tied. Brenden Morrow notched his first goal of the season, Nikita Kucherov also scored and Ben Bishop turned aside 26 shots for Tampa Bay.

David Legwand scored the lone goal for the Senators while playing in his 1,000th NHL contest. Robin Lehner made 28 saves for Ottawa, which gave up 15 shots in the final period and lost for the fourth time in five games.

Killorn put the Lightning ahead 76 seconds into the third period, getting his stick on defenseman Anton Stralman’s low shot from the top of the slot. Cedric Paquette stole the puck behind the net and fed Morrow, who chipped it inside the right post at 8:09 to double the lead, and Kucherov tipped in Tyler Johnson’s blast during a power play less than six minutes later to add insurance.

The Senators took the lead while enjoying a man advantage with 1:47 left in the first period, when Legwand beat Bishop from the right faceoff circle. Killorn poked the puck down the left wing to captain Steven Stamkos, who set up Callahan on the 2-on-1 rush 5:13 into the second session for his 11th goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Senators were without RW Bobby Ryan, who suffered a broken finger and will be out indefinitely. … Tampa Bay D Victor Hedman returned to the lineup after missing 18 games with a fractured finger and logged 19:55 of ice time. … Morrow and RW Brett Connolly shared the team lead with five hits apiece.
