Jets 1, Blackhawks 0: Michael Frolik scored the only goal less than a minute into the game and Michael Hutchinson stopped 33 shots for his first NHL shutout as visiting Winnipeg blanked Chicago.

Hutchinson was sensational for the Jets, who closed out a 3-0-1 road trip with a pair of 1-0 victories. Captain Andrew Ladd and defenseman Zach Bogosian added assists on the first goal of the season for Frolik, who shared the team lead of four shots with Evander Kane.

Corey Crawford made 26 saves for the Blackhawks, who have dropped five of their last seven contests. Patrick Sharp led the club with seven shots on goal.

Winnipeg needed just 20 seconds to open the scoring. After the Jets controlled play in the offensive zone, Frolik pounced on a loose puck in the slot and waited out Crawford before firing a wrist shot past the diving netminder.

Hutchinson took over from there, turning aside nine shots in the first period, 11 in the second and 13 more in the third. Chicago pressed for the equalizer with the extra skater in the final minute, but Hutchinson preserved his shutout by stopping Sharp's backhander and Andrew Shaw's wrist shot over the final 40 seconds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Blackhawks denied Winnipeg on both of its power plays and are 21-for-22 on the penalty kill over their last eight games. ... Winnipeg finished with 30 blocked shots on the night while Chicago had just nine ... Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane has gone seven games without a goal.
