Penguins 5, Sabres 0: Chris Kunitz registered his second straight two-goal, three-point performance and Marc-Andre Fleury posted his third shutout in eight days as host Pittsburgh extended its winning streak to four games.

Evgeni Malkin stretched his season-opening point streak to 10 games with a tally and two assists, Patric Hornqvist added one of each and Blake Comeau also scored for the Penguins, who have outscored their opponents 19-3 during their run. Captain Sidney Crosby set up three tallies and Fleury stopped 18 shots en route to his 31st career shutout and second in a row.

Jhonas Enroth made 29 saves for the Sabres, who were blanked for the fifth time this season and second in three games. Buffalo has scored a total of 12 non-shootout goals in as many games in 2014-15.

Kunitz opened the scoring 4:26 into the contest by swooping in and knocking a backhander past Enroth from the doorstep. Comeau doubled the lead at 11:54 of the second period, wiring a shot into the top right corner of the net from the slot after receiving a pass from Malkin, who appeared to put himself offside at the right point as he carried the puck into the offensive zone.

Hornqvist completed a brilliant tic-tac-toe passing play by beating Enroth from the inner edge of the right faceoff circle during a man advantage with 3:51 left in the session to make it 3-0. Kunitz and Malkin also cashed in during the third period as Pittsburgh's top-ranked power play finished 3-for-5 on the night.
