Lightning 4, Canucks 3: Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat each recorded a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay held off a late rally by visiting Vancouver to extend its point streak to five games.

Valtteri Filppula and Tom Pyatt also scored for the Lightning, who finished their homestand at 3-1-2 after winning three in a row. Ben Bishop turned aside 25 shots for his 32nd victory as Tampa Bay moved into a second-place tie with idle Montreal in the Atlantic Division with 81 points.

Alexandre Burrows registered a pair of goals and an assist while Jannik Hansen also scored a short-handed goal for Vancouver, which won 4-3 in a shootout at Florida on Sunday. Eddie Lack made 26 saves in his 11th consecutive start for the Canucks.

Stamkos opened the scoring on the power play with 2:04 left in the first period, one-timing a shot from below the left circle after a backhand pass from Palat. The Lightning doubled the lead 6:24 into the second session when Palat’s shot caromed in off the body of Vancouver defenseman Ryan Stanton.

Filppula’s pass went in off Stanton’s skate with 8.1 seconds left in the second for a 3-0 lead, but Burrows swept in a rebound 5:44 into the third on the power play. Pyatt restored the three-goal lead 3:03 later before Burrows scored on a deflection and Hansen knocked in his own rebound with 4:44 to go.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lightning RW Ryan Callahan had an assist for his fourth point in six games since being acquired from the New York Rangers at the trade deadline. … Burrows has six points in the last two contests and has scored twice in two of the last four games. … The Lightning honored members of their 2004 Stanley Cup championship team in a ceremony before the game as part of the 10th reunion festivities.
