Blues 4, Coyotes 2: Defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk scored on the power play to highlight his team's four-goal third period and Ryan Miller turned aside 23 shots in his debut as visiting St. Louis rallied to victory.

Patrik Berglund netted the first of his two goals early in the third to end the Blues' scoreless streak at a franchise-record 187 minutes, 44 seconds. Magnus Paajarvi also tallied and Jaden Schwartz notched a pair of assists for the Blues, who have won four in a row in Phoenix.

Paul Bissonnette scored 2:56 into the first period and fellow fourth-liner Jeff Halpern added his 150th career goal in the second for the Coyotes, who have dropped four straight games (0-3-1).

With Halpern serving a hooking penalty, Shattenkirk gave St. Louis a 3-2 lead with 7:14 remaining as he patiently sized up his shot before beating a screened Mike Smith (26 saves) from the left faceoff circle. Berglund provided insurance with 1:39 left and Miller - who was acquired from Buffalo in a blockbuster five-player deal on Friday - improved to 7-0-0 lifetime versus Phoenix.

The Coyotes carried a 2-0 lead into the third period before Berglund scored for the first time in 17 games, converting a scintillating backhand feed from Schwartz at the 3:18 mark. Paajarvi forged a tie nearly 4 1/2 minutes later as his wrist shot from the right circle beat a screened Smith.

GAME NOTEBOOK: St. Louis C Steve Ott, who also was acquired in the aforementioned trade, registered two shots on goal in 13:58 of ice time. ... Phoenix drew first blood as Bissonnette's backhander caromed off the legs of Blues D Barret Jackman and past Miller. The 2010 Vezina Trophy winner didn't have much of a chance on the Coyotes' second tally as D Keith Yandle's centering feed from deep in the left circle deflected off the stick of Halpern and into the net. ... St. Louis acquired LW Eric Selleck from Florida for RW Mark Mancari prior to the game. Selleck collected three goals and four assists in 42 games with San Antonio of the American Hockey League this season, while Mancari scored nine goals and set up 22 others in 44 contests with the AHL's Chicago Wolves.
