Canucks 1, Blues 0: Jannik Hansen snapped a scoreless tie with 8:47 remaining in the third period as host Vancouver welcomed back captain Henrik Sedin from a rib injury while halting its seven-game losing streak.

Eddie Lack turned aside 20 shots en route to his third career shutout for the Canucks, who completed a sweep of the three-game season series with St. Louis. Lack allowed a total of three goals in posting all three victories.

Jaroslav Halak finished with 34 saves for the Blues, who were shut out for the first time this season. The Central Division leaders went 0-for-3 on the power play and registered only three shots in the final period.

Lack made six saves in the first session and 11 in the second as he ended a personal five-game slide. The 26-year-old Swede improved to just 2-6-3 in his last 11 decisions.

After two scoreless periods, the Canucks finally got on the board on Hansen's 10th goal of the season. The Dane received a pass from Tom Sestito and split two defenders before firing the puck under the right arm of Halak.
