Blue Jackets 6, Jets 3: Mark Letestu and rookie Boone Jenner each scored a pair of goals as visiting Columbus cruised to its third straight win and fourth in five games.

Cam Atkinson and Nick Foligno also tallied and Curtis McElhinney stopped 28 shots for the Blue Jackets, who have captured three of their last four on the road. Derek MacKenzie returned from a three-game suspension to notch two assists and defenseman James Wisniewski also set up a pair of goals.

Bryan Little recorded a goal and an assist while Eric O'Dell and blue-liner Tobias Enstrom also scored for the Jets, who have begun the month with five consecutive losses.

Winnipeg held a 1-0 lead after one period on O'Dell's first career goal, but Letestu ignited a four-goal spurt by Columbus in the second with a backhander during a short breakaway 36 seconds into the session. Atkinson put the Blue Jackets ahead at 4:15 and Foligno converted a feed from behind the net by Ryan Johansen 4:11 later to make it 3-1.

Jenner beat Ondrej Pavelec (20 saves) to the stick side on a penalty shot 41 seconds later and, after Enstrom buried a one-timer from the left point to get the Jets within two, completed his second career two-goal performance by knocking in a rebound from the low slot at 4:08 of the third. Letestu answered Little's power-play tally - and doubled his season total - by converting a slap pass from the right point by Wisniewski with 8:46 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jenner also scored twice in his fifth NHL game on Oct. 17 at Montreal. ... Letestu's two-goal effort was the fourth of his career and first since April 21 at San Jose. ... Winnipeg D Dustin Byfuglien notched an assist and registered two shots on goal while taking a regular shift at right wing on the top line.
