Blues 5, Flames 0: Vladimir Sobotka and Vladimir Tarasenko each recorded a goal and an assist while Jaroslav Halak posted his third shutout of the season as visiting St. Louis extended its winning streak to seven games.

Chris Stewart and defensemen Ian Cole and Alex Pietrangelo also scored for the Blues, who have earned at least one point in 10 straight contests (9-0-1). Halak made 33 saves for his 28th career shutout and also notched an assist as St. Louis completed the three-game season series with a 2-0-1 record.

Karri Ramo turned aside 24 shots for the Flames, who were shut out for the fifth time in seven games. Calgary has lost six of its last seven contests, scoring a total of one goal in the defeats.

Stewart began the scoring at 9:32 of the first period, converting a pass from behind the net by Derek Roy, and Sobotka beat Ramo with a shot from along the right-wing boards just over two minutes later for a 2-0 lead. Cole netted the lone goal of the middle session, pinching from the left point and burying a shot from the faceoff circle after receiving a cross-slot pass from Tarasenko.

Pietrangelo unleashed a blast from the top of the left circle that deflected off Flames defenseman Chris Butler and past Ramo during a power play 1:16 into the third to make it 4-0. Tarasenko capped the scoring 2:16 later, one-timing blue-liner Jordan Leopold's cross-slot feed past Ramo while on the man advantage.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Halak's assist on Sobotka's goal was the third of his NHL career. ... Blues C T.J. Oshie was in the lineup after leaving Tuesday's victory in Edmonton following a knee-on-knee hit by Taylor Hall. .. The Flames have been outscored 15-1 in their last five home games. They've been blanked six times this season, with all coming over their last 11 contests. ... Five of the Blues' six defensemen got on the scoresheet, combining for two goals and three assists. Jay Bouwmeester was the lone St. Louis blue-liner without a point.
