Ducks 1, Lightning 0 (OT): Ryan Getzlaf scored with 5.2 seconds left in overtime as Anaheim edged visiting Tampa Bay to snap a five-game winless streak.

Ben Bishop made the first save on Getzlaf, but his rebound try went off the Lightning goalie’s arm and trickled over the line to end it. It was Getzlaf’s third goal in three games and fifth game-winner of the season, while Jonas Hiller made 31 saves for his 18th career shutout – second this season.

Hiller got the nod after scheduled starter Viktor Fasth suffered a lower-body injury in warmups for Anaheim, which was 0-3-2 in its previous five games. Bishop stopped 41 shots for Tampa Bay, which finished its four-game Western swing 0-3-1.

Bishop stopped all 29 shots he faced in the first two periods, including three short-handed breakaways by the Ducks – two by Andrew Cogliano. Hiller only had to make 18 saves in the first 40 minutes, but the Ducks killed off five of Tampa Bay's six power plays to keep the game scoreless.

Hiller, who allowed five goals on 20 shots in the 5-1 loss at Tampa Bay on Nov. 14, made a big stop on semi-breakaway by Tyler Johnson 8:20 into the third. Bishop got his blocker on Corey Perry’s rocket from the right circle a few minutes later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Anaheim RW Tim Jackman was in the lineup for his first game after being acquired from Calgary on Thursday and fought Lightning RW B.J. Crombeen in the first period. … Tampa Bay dressed seven defensemen and needed them when D Radko Gudas suffered an upper-body injury and was limited to 7:25. … Former Ducks D Scott Niedermayer, who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Nov. 11, was honored before the game.
