Kings 5, Lightning 2: Anze Kopitar, Justin Williams and Matt Frattin each recorded a goal and an assist as host Los Angeles rolled over Tampa Bay to extend its point streak to seven games.

Ben Scrivens saw his shutout streak end at 191 minutes, 19 seconds, but turned aside 19 shots to win his fourth straight after replacing the injured Jonathan Quick. Dwight King and captain Dustin Brown also scored goals while defenseman Drew Doughty added a pair of assists for Los Angeles, which lost at Tampa Bay 5-1 on Oct. 15.

Defenseman Victor Hedman had a goal and an assist for Tampa Bay and captain Martin St. Louis set up a tally in his 1,000th career game. Valtteri Filppula also scored and Ben Bishop made 26 saves for the Lightning, who have lost consecutive games for the first time this season.

Kopitar opened the scoring with 5:02 left in the opening period, taking a drop pass from Doughty and hammering a shot past Bishop’s stick side. The Kings doubled the lead on the power play 1:51 later when Frattin got his stick on defenseman Slava Voynov’s shot from the left point.

Williams was credited with a goal that went off two Lightning players 2:38 into the second and King deflected Linden Vey’s shot under Bishop for a short-handed goal at 15:08. Filppula’s power-play goal got the Lightning on the board at 16:17, but Brown capitalized on a turnover 58 seconds later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: St. Louis is the 16th undrafted player in NHL history to reach the 1,000-game plateau since the inception of the universal draft in 1969 and the 286th overall. He is tied with Lightning assistant coach Steve Thomas for 92nd all time in the league with 933 points. … The Kings, who lead the NHL in faceoff percentage, had a 40-24 edge in the circle. … Lightning D Dmitry Korobov made his NHL debut and played 13:21.
