Canucks 5, Flames 4 (OT): Mike Santorelli scored his second goal of the game 3:17 into overtime as Vancouver completed a weekend sweep in Alberta.

Defenseman Kevin Bieksa avoided a check after entering the zone on the left wing and carried the puck down low before dishing it across the top of the crease to Santorelli, who chipped it past Joey MacDonald. Santorelli scored his first goal as a Canuck midway through the third period to forge a 3-3 tie.

David Booth, Jannik Hansen and Dale Weise also tallied and rookie Eddie Lack made 32 saves in his NHL debut for Vancouver, which scored a total of 11 goals in defeating Edmonton and Calgary on consecutive nights. David Jones recorded a goal and an assist while captain Mark Giordano, Mikael Backlund and rookie Sean Monahan also scored for the Flames, who have begun the season with a three-game point streak (1-0-2).

Booth gave Vancouver the lead 4:47 into the contest by tipping defenseman Jason Garrison's shot past MacDonald, but Giordano forged a tie nearly 10 minutes later with a wrist shot from the top of the slot. Backlund put Calgary ahead midway through the second, accepting a pass in the neutral zone and slipping a backhander inside the right post on a breakaway.

Monahan made it 3-1 at 1:47 of the third, firing a shot from the right faceoff circle between Lack's pads, before Vancouver began its comeback. Hansen, Santorelli and Weise scored in a span of 11:05 to give the Canucks the lead, but Jones poked the puck past Lack during a goal-mouth scramble with 19 seconds remaining to force overtime.
