Ducks 4, Wild 3 (OT): Mathieu Perreault scored 4:55 into overtime as visiting Anaheim rebounded from a lopsided season-opening loss to edge Minnesota.

Acquired from Washington on Sunday, Perreault accepted a feed from defenseman Francois Beauchemin on a 2-on-1 rush and backhanded the puck between the pads of Niklas Backstrom as the Ducks defeated the Wild for the fifth consecutive time.

Jakob Silfverberg scored for the second straight contest since coming over from Ottawa in an offseason deal involving Bobby Ryan. Saku Koivu and Nick Bonino tallied in the first period and Jonas Hiller turned aside 30 shots for Anaheim.

Zach Parise recorded his 30th career multi-goal game and Jason Pominville added a power-play tally. Backstrom finished with 26 saves for the Wild, who ventured past regulation in a pair of losses to Pacific Division teams.

Parise netted his first goal midway through the first period to trim Anaheim's lead to 2-1 before Silfverberg regained the two-goal advantage early in the second after converting Perreault's nifty pass by wiring a shot under the crossbar. Pominville scored on an offensive zone faceoff at 8:28 of the second and Parise forged a 3-3 tie early in the third after cleaning up a rebound.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Future Hall-of-Famer Teemu Selanne was a healthy scratch as Anaheim plays the second half of its back-to-back set against Winnipeg on Sunday. Selanne spent his initial three-plus seasons of his career in Manitoba - highlighted by a career-high 76 goals during his Calder Trophy-winning 1992-93 campaign. ... Minnesota D Mathew Dumba, who was the seventh overall pick of the 2012 draft, logged 10:22 of ice time in his NHL debut. ... Wild C Charlie Coyle suffered a lower-body injury after absorbing a check from C Andrew Cogliano in the second period. He did not return.
