Blues 4, Sharks 3 (OT): Vladimir Sobotka recorded his first career hat trick and Patrik Berglund scored 1:12 into overtime as visiting St. Louis rallied past San Jose.

Defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk notched a pair of assists and Jake Allen finished with 22 saves for the Blues, who have won two straight to even their mark (2-2-0) on their season-high five-game road trip. St. Louis will conclude its trek on Sunday in Anaheim.

Blue-liner Matt Irwin and Scott Gomez collected a goal and an assist apiece and Logan Couture also tallied. Alex Stalock turned aside six shots in relief of Antti Niemi (25 saves) for the Sharks, who have dropped two in a row following a 3-0-1 surge.

After tallying twice in Thursday's 6-3 win over Phoenix, Berglund ended the contest by tipping defenseman Barret Jackman's shot past Stalock for his team-leading 12th goal.

With San Jose nursing a 3-1 lead, Sobotka scored twice in an 80-second span in the third period to complete the hat trick. After bringing the Blues within a goal at 4:18, Sobotka used Chris Stewart as a screen before wiring a shot past Niemi for his seventh tally of the season - and sixth in five games.

Gomez gave San Jose a 2-1 advantage at 7:45 of the second period by settling a loose puck following Ryane Clowe's blast and lifting it past Allen.

San Jose made St. Louis pay later in the session after David Perron was whistled for a goaltender interference penalty. Irwin doubled the lead at 3-1 with 3:29 remaining as his shot from the point eluded Allen for his second goal of the season.
