Predators 4, Flames 3: Austin Watson scored his first career goal to snap a tie early in the third period as host Nashville ended its franchise-high eight-game winless streak (0-7-1).

David Legwand netted his 200th career goal and Nick Spaling and Matt Halischuk also scored. Pekka Rinne turned aside 15 shots for the Predators, who have scored four goals in consecutive contests after mustering eight in their previous seven tilts.

Roman Cervenka scored twice, T.J. Brodie also tallied and Miikka Kiprusoff finished with 28 saves as the Flames failed in their bid for a season-high four-game winning streak.

After Spaling's power-play goal leveled the contest with 1:29 remaining in the second period, Watson gave Nashville a 3-2 lead at 3:17 of the third. The 18th overall pick of the 2010 draft, Watson found the net for the first time in six outings by solving Kiprusoff with a wrist shot.

Halischuk provided insurance 1:23 later after accepting a nifty feed from Bobby Butler. Cervenka trimmed the deficit with 4:50 remaining after he deflected defenseman Chris Butler's shot past Rinne. The goal was upheld as replays showed Cervenka's stick was below the crossbar.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Watson was recalled earlier on Tuesday from Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. ... Calgary LW Sven Baertschi extended his point streak to six games with an assist on Cervenka's first goal. He also had a helper on Cervenka's second tally. ... Playing in his fourth game, Nashville C Filip Forsberg notched an assist on Legwand's goal for his first NHL point. ... After scoring on all three of their power plays in their last game, the Flames failed to convert on their lone opportunity on Tuesday.
