Hansen opened the scoring during a power play with 5:32 remaining in the first period as he deflected defenseman Jason Garrison's one-timer from the right point past Crawford. Carcillo spoiled Schneider's shutout bid with 8:10 to go in the third. A clearing attempt from behind the net caromed off the referee and directly to Carcillo, who backhanded the puck past the goaltender for his second goal.
