Canucks 5, Flames 2: Captain Henrik Sedin recorded a goal and two assists while Alex Burrows added one of each as Vancouver extended Calgary's road winless streak to 13 games (0-12-1).

Dale Weise and defensemen Dan Hamhuis and Alex Edler also scored, Daniel Sedin notched three assists and Cory Schneider made 36 saves for the Canucks, who posted their eighth win in 10 contests and increased their lead in the Northwest Division over idle Minnesota to four points.

Blue-liner Dennis Wideman and Alex Tanguay had goals while Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 17 shots for Calgary, which hasn't won on the road since posting a 4-3 triumph over Dallas on Feb. 17.

Hamhuis converted a cross-slot pass by Burrows just 34 seconds into the game and Weise doubled the lead at 6:57 of the first period, when defenseman Jason Garrison's one-timer from the right point deflected off him in front. Wideman halved the deficit later in the session, but Burrows poked the puck past Kiprusoff at 7:24 of the second to make it 3-1.

Edler drilled a one-timer from the right point between Kiprusoff's pads during a power play with 27 seconds remaining in the period to extend the lead. Tanguay got the Flames within 4-2 at 10:49 of the third before Henrik Sedin sealed the win with a short-handed empty-netter in the final minute.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Henrik Sedin's first assist of the night was the 600th of his career. ... The Flames have been outscored 25-10 while going 0-5-0 since long-time captain Jarome Iginla was traded to Pittsburgh. ... Calgary RW Brian McGrattan suffered a shoulder injury in the second period and did not return. Tanguay took a stick to the face late in the third and retreated to the locker room.
