Predators 6, Oilers 0: Colin Wilson collected two goals and two assists while Pekka Rinne turned aside 24 shots to record his NHL-leading fourth shutout as Nashville routed road-weary Edmonton.

David Legwand wristed a shot from center ice which bounced past the glove of Devan Dubnyk late in the first period and Patric Hornqvist netted a power-play goal before exiting with an upper-body injury. Captain Shea Weber notched three assists while Richard Clune and Zach Boychuk also scored for the Predators, who snapped a three-game losing streak and won for the third time in 10 outings (3-6-1).

Yann Danis stopped 17 shots over two periods in relief of Dubnyk (11 saves) as the Oilers were shut out for the second straight contest. Edmonton suffered its fifth consecutive winless decision (0-4-1) and fell to 1-4-2 on its franchise-record nine-game road trip.

Rinne denied a pair of short-handed breakaways by Ryan Jones en route to securing his 29th career shutout. The Finn moved past Phoenix's Mike Smith and Washington's Braden Holtby for the league lead.

After Hornqvist batted the puck out of the air and past Dubnyk at 6:07 of the first period, Legwand doubled the advantage with his first goal since Feb. 16.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clune recorded his second career tally and gave Nashville a 3-0 lead just 51 seconds into the middle session by cleaning up the rebound of C Paul Gaustad's shot. ... RW Ales Hemsky, who leads Edmonton with eight goals, sat out after taking a puck off the side of his foot during Thursday's 3-0 loss to Detroit. ... Nashville, which went 2-for-4 on the power play on Friday, converted just once in its previous 14 opportunities with the man advantage.
