Bruins 3, Jets 2: Brad Marchand scored his team-leading eighth goal to snap a tie just 36 seconds into the third period as Boston handed Winnipeg its fourth consecutive home loss.

Tyler Seguin and Daniel Paille also scored and Patrice Bergeron notched a pair of assists as the Bruins improved to 1-1-0 on their season-long five-game road trip. Tuukka Rask turned aside 22 shots to record his first win in three tries at MTS Centre (1-2-0).

Alex Burmistrov collected a goal and an assist, Evander Kane scored and Ondrej Pavelec finished with 23 saves for the Jets, who fell to 2-7-0 in their last nine games. Winnipeg will hit the road for nine of its next 11 contests.

With his team on a power play early in the third period, Marchand skated through the right faceoff circle before backhanding the puck past Pavelec's glove.

Boston answered goals by Winnipeg on two occasions in the second period - with Paille deflecting defenseman Johnny Boychuk's blast from just inside the blue line with two seconds remaining in the period to forge a 2-2 tie.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Winnipeg D Tobias Enstrom, who is the team's leader in assists (11) and points (13), sat out with a shoulder injury. ... Seguin was a healthy scratch when Boston visited Winnipeg last season. The reasoning? Seguin failed to properly set his alarm clock to adjust to the time change and missed a mandatory team breakfast. ... Milan Lucic missed Sunday's contest after returning to Boston for personal reasons.
