Stars 4, Canucks 3: Rookie defenseman Brenden Dillon snapped a tie late in the third period as visiting Dallas rallied to spoil Henrik Sedin's record-setting performance and hand Vancouver its first loss in seven games.

Cody Eakin had a goal and an assist, rookie Reilly Smith scored his first career goal and Antoine Roussel netted his second for the Stars, who lost starting goaltender Kari Lehtonen in the first period to a groin injury. Richard Bachman came on and made 18 saves en route to his first win of the season.

Sedin recorded two assists to pass Markus Naslund and become Vancouver’s all-time scoring leader with 757 career points. Daniel Sedin, Alex Burrows and Chris Higgins scored for the Canucks in the opening half of the second period, but Dallas responded with three straight goals against Cory Schneider, who stopped 25 shots.

Dillon, who is from nearby New Westminster, B.C., pinched in from the point on a delayed penalty call and put a cross-ice feed from Jamie Benn past Schneider with 3:01 remaining to cap the Stars’ comeback. Roussel tied the game earlier in the third when he batted a bouncing puck over Schneider’s right pad.

Henrik Sedin broke Naslund’s record with an assist on Burrows’ goal midway through the second period, which gave Vancouver a 3-1 lead.
