Canucks 2, Wild 1: Defenseman Kevin Bieksa scored a power-play goal and Roberto Luongo made 25 saves en route to his fourth straight victory as host Vancouver extended its winning streak to six games.

Jannik Hansen also tallied for the Canucks, who have won 11 consecutive home meetings with the Wild.

Devin Setoguchi scored with the man advantage and Darcy Kuemper stopped 28 shots in his NHL debut for Minnesota, which has recorded one goal in regulation in each of its last six contests.

Vancouver cashed in on its first power-play opportunity of the game to take a 1-0 lead. Zack Kassian made a pass from the right-wing boards to Bieksa, who fired the puck past Kuemper from the slot with 8:27 remaining in the first period.

Hansen doubled the advantage midway through the second, drilling the puck under the crossbar after receiving a cross-slot feed from the left faceoff circle by defenseman Keith Ballard. Setoguchi halved the deficit during a power play four minutes later, but the Wild were unable to get the equalizer past Luongo.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kuemper was recalled from Houston of the American Hockey League as G Josh Harding was unable to suit up due to symptoms related to multiple sclerosis. The 22-year-old is 10-6-0 with four shutouts and a 1.79 goals-against average in 16 games with the Aeros this season. ... Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin failed to get on the scoresheet, keeping him two points shy of becoming the franchise's all-time leading scorer. Markus Naslund still holds that distinction with 756 points. ... Minnesota's Dany Heatley has gone eight games without a point while fellow LW Zach Parise has scored one goal in that span.
