Canucks 4, Wild 1:
Mason Raymond had a goal and an assist as visiting Vancouver won its fourth straight game.

Daniel Sedin, Chris Higgins and Jannik Hansen also scored for the Canucks, who defeated Minnesota for the eighth time in the last 10 meetings. Cory Schneider made 12 of his 22 saves in the second period.

Defenseman Tom Gilbert scored a power-play goal in the third period for the Wild, who have tallied 21 times in 10 games. Niklas Backstrom stopped 12 of 16 shots before being replaced by Josh Harding to start the final session as Minnesota lost its third straight contest.

After Alex Burrows skated down the right wing and put a backhander on Backstrom, Sedin beat two Wild players down the ice and knocked in the rebound at 9:18 of the first period. Higgins deflected Maxim Lapierre's shot from the top of the right faceoff circle past Backstrom to make it 2-0 with 5:29 left in the session.

Raymond collected an ill-fated clearing attempt by Wild defenseman Clayton Stoner and scored from the top of the right circle during a power play at 17:17 of the second period. Hansen caught a blue line-to-blue line pass from Raymond in mid-air and went in alone before beating Backstrom high to the glove side 1:35 later.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Wild fell to 1-4-1 against Stanley Cup playoff teams from last season. ... Minnesota LW Zach Parise had a game-high eight shots. ... Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin, who took a pair of tripping minors, didn't record a point and remains four away from becoming the Canucks' all-time leader.
