FLYERS 5, JETS 4: Jaromir Jagr scored the game-winner at 4:16 of overtime as Philadelphia rallied from a late deficit to snap a six-game losing streak to Winnipeg.

Jagr finished a pass from Danny Briere in front of the net following a Jets turnover. Philadelphia’s Wayne Simmonds had forced overtime with just 10 seconds remaining in regulation.

Claude Giroux, Scott Hartnell and Maxime Talbot all scored for the Flyers, who had dropped 10 of 11 meetings against Winnipeg.

Captain Andrew Ladd scored a pair of goals, Dustin Byfuglien had a goal and an assist and Evander Kane tallied for the Jets, who went 3 for 3 with the man advantage.

Kane put the Jets ahead 4-3 at 4:57 of the third period with a rising shot that hit the glove of goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and went into the back of the net.

After the Flyers pulled Bryzgalov in the waning moments, Simmonds converted from close range for his ninth goal in his past 10 games.

After Hartnell converted a power-play tally for his 28th of the season just a minute into a back-and-fourth second period, Ladd scored twice in a span of 1:04. With the man advantage, Blake Wheeler fed Ladd from behind the net for a quick one-timer. Ladd then finished a long shot by Bryan Little with a backhand from the doorstep for the 2-1 advantage.

Talbot leveled the score 3-3 thanks to some heavy pressure on Ondrej Pavelec, who made 50 saves. Following a number of pucks on net, Talbot eventually finished with a low shot for his 17th.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Defenseman Pavel Kubina made his Flyers debut following Saturday’s trade from Tampa Bay. … Tim Stapleton had three assists for the Jets. … Byfuglien has notched seven points in his past four games.
