BLACKHAWKS 6, BLUE JACKETS 1: Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp each had a goal and two assists Saturday afternoon as Chicago rolled past host Columbus.

Sharp's goal late in the second period gave the Blackhawks a 3-1 lead, and Patrick Kane followed with the back-breaking tally less than two minutes later as Chicago won its second straight following a nine-game losing skid.

Viktor Stalberg, Markus Kruger and Sami Lepisto added singles for Chicago. Twelve different skaters registered at least a point.

Derick Brassard's goal 5:13 into the opening period provided the lone offense for the Blue Jackets, who finished 1-2-0 on their three-game homestand.

Corey Crawford stopped 33 shots to preserve the win for the Blackhawks, who won despite being outshot by a 34-28 margin on the afternoon.

Columbus forward Rick Nash, the subject of intense trade rumors heading into the Feb. 27 deadline, was a minus-two with three shots on goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Blue Jackets' Derek Dorsett was given an instigating minor and a game misconduct for starting a fight with the Blackhawks' John Scott early in the third period. ... Starting Columbus netminder Steve Mason was pulled after allowing four goals on 20 shots. Allen York stopped six of eight shots the rest of the way. ... LePisto's goal was his first since Jan. 15, 2011, a span of 54 games.
