All-Star Tyler Seguin and David Krejci collected a goal and an assist in regulation and scored in the shootout as the Boston Bruins overcame Scott Hartnell's natural hat trick to skate to a wild 6-5 road triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday.

Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic also scored and set up a goal for Boston, which matched the Atlantic Division-leading New York Rangers with 64 points atop the Eastern Conference. The Bruins hold the tiebreaker by virtue of having more wins, despite dropping a 3-2 overtime decision to the Rangers on Saturday.

In the shootout, Krejci's wrister beat Ilya Bryzgalov inside the right post and Seguin tucked the puck past the Russian netminder in the following round. Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas denied Wayne Simmonds with his left pad to end the contest.

Max Talbot tallied twice and All-Star Claude Giroux notched three assists for Philadelphia, which fell for the second time in three meetings this season versus Boston.

After Gregory Campbell tapped home Daniel Paille's wraparound attempt at 4:59 of the third period to give Boston a 5-4 edge, Talbot responded with his second of the game by deflecting defenseman Matt Carle's point shot at 10:38 of the session.

Boston held a 3-1 lead after the first period before Hartnell went to work.

Hartnell beat Thomas at 3:23 with a shot from high slot and his wrist shot from nearly the same spot leveled the contest at 3-3. Hartnell then completed his sixth career hat trick with his team-leading 25th goal of the season after one-timing a shot from the slot with 47 seconds remaining in the third period.
