Nathan Horton scored a pair of goals and ignited a third-period comeback as the Boston Bruins rallied for a 5-3 victory over the visiting Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night.

Shawn Thornton scored on his first career penalty shot and Tyler Seguin and Benoit Pouliot tallied during a three-goal third period as Boston improved to 24-4-1 since Nov. 1.

Tuukka Rask won his sixth straight decision and the Bruins avenged a 2-1 defeat at Winnipeg last month.

Captain Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler and Eric Fehr score goals – all on deflections – for the Jets, who failed to protect three one-goal leads.

Horton sparked the Bruins by scoring just eight seconds into the third period, converting a pass from David Krejci to knot it at 3-3. Krejci had two assists to give him 14 points in a nine-game streak.

Seguin, who missed last month's loss to Winnipeg, put Boston ahead to stay by flipping a backhander past goaltender Ondrej Pavelec at the 3:06 mark.

Pouliot completed the three-goal blitz 3 1/2 minutes later as the Bruins poured 22 of their 42 shots on net in the final period.
