Evander Kane scored at 1:09 of overtime and Chris Mason made 31 saves as the Winnipeg Jets posted a 1-0 home victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

Ron Hainsey and Blake Wheeler each notched an assist for Winnipeg, which has won 11 of its last 15 games at the MTS Centre.

Jonathan Bernier made the save on a Kane shot from the left faceoff circle. Following a mad scramble in the slot, Kane pulled the puck from his backhand to his forehand and tucked it around Bernier for his 18th goal of the season.

Mason, who did not face a shot in the overtime, made 13 saves in the first period, 12 in the second and six in the third en route to his 22nd career shutout and first this season.

Bernier stopped 26 shots for the Kings, who have earned at least one point in all five games under new coach Darryl Sutter (3-0-2).
