Defenseman Joe Corvo scored his first two goals of the season and Milan Lucic recorded three assists as the Boston Bruins got back to their winning ways with a 5-3 triumph over the host Columbus Blue Jackets.
Nathan Horton and Zdeno Chara each added a goal for the Bruins, who had dropped two straight after winning 14 of their previous 15.
Corvo got the game-winner at the 6:44 mark in the third, beating a screened Curtis Sanford with a slap shot from the top of the right face-off circle.
The Boston offense, which had managed a total of one goal in the setbacks, showed up after the Blue Jackets had taken a 2-0 lead. Corvo picked up his first tally with 1:34 left in the first and Horton tied it up less than a minute later with a wrister from the high slot.
Chara gave Boston its first lead on the power play 58 seconds into the second, winding up and blasting a slap shot from above the left circle for his sixth goal. That made it three tallies in less than three minutes of game time for the Bruins.
Chara suffered an undisclosed injury in the second and did not return.
Chris Kelly added an insurance goal on the power play with 26 seconds left in the third and Tuukka Rask, who replaced Tim Thomas at the start of the third, made 11 saves.
