Patrick Sharp scored his second goal of the game on the power play with 7:08 remaining in the third period, lifting the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 triumph over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.

Marian Hossa and Dave Bolland also scored while Patrick Kane and defenseman Brent Seabrook added two assists apiece for the Blackhawks, who trailed by a goal after two periods.

At the right side of the crease, Tomas Kopecky attempted to move to his forehand but lost control of the puck. It slid directly to Sharp, who fired it into the net from alone on the left side for a 4-3 lead.

Bolland got Chicago even at 9:36 of the third, skating around defenseman Craig Rivet and beating Patrick Lalime for his first goal of the season.

Drew Stafford and Paul Gaustad scored 17 seconds apart for Buffalo in the first period to erase a 1-0 deficit, but Hossa tallied 64 seconds into the middle session to knot the contest at 2-2 and extend his points streak to six games.

Cody McCormick netted his first goal in 58 games late in the second to give the Sabres a 3-2 edge.

Marty Turco made 38 saves for Chicago while Lalime stopped 17 shots for Buffalo, which has lost five in a row.
