Brad Marchand had two goals and an assist, and David Pastrnak added a goal and two assists as the Boston Bruins scored four unanswered goals en route to a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

Torey Krug contributed a goal and an assist for the Bruins, who have won the first three games of a season-opening, four-game road trip that concludes on Thursday night at Colorado. It is Boston's first 3-0-0 start in 18 years.

Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask finished with 31 saves.

Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone each had a goal and an assist, and Reilly Smith also scored for Vegas, which took its first loss in three games this season. Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves.

Vegas jumped out to a 2-0, first-period lead for the third straight game, netting two goals in the span of 1:44.

Stone got the first on a power play, taking a pass from Pacioretty near the bottom of the right circle and firing a wrist shot that caromed off Rask's glove and dribbled across the goal line at 6:36.

Smith followed with his third goal of the season, getting a pass from Jonathan Marchessault in front of the crease and then tapping a shot five-hole on Rask.

Boston then responded with four consecutive goals in the span of 11 minutes to take a 4-2 lead. Pastrnak started the streak at 11:21 of the opening period with his first goal of the season. He scored off a nice cross-ice feed from Marchand following a turnover in his own zone by defenseman Deryk Engelland.

Marchand then tied it with a power-play goal, one-timing a feed from Pastrnak from the left dot under Fleury's right arm at 18:58 of the first.

Marchand then gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead 33 seconds in the middle period with his third goal of the season. He took a bank pass off the boards from Pastrnak and then broke in on the left side, where he beat Fleury with a wrist shot that clanged in off the post on the goalie's glove side.

Krug then made it 4-2 less than two minutes later, blasting a slap shot from the left point that deflected off the stick of Vegas' Ryan Reaves and over Fleury's left shoulder.

Pacioretty cut the deficit to 4-3 with 5:18 to go in the third period with a power-play goal, rifling a shot from the right circle under Rask's left arm.

Vegas pulled Fleury with 1:41 remaining but didn't manage a shot on goal until the final 11 seconds, when Rask twice stopped close-in tries by Tomas Nosek.
