Alex Galchenyuk scored his first goal in a two-point night and goalie Antti Raanta made 25 saves as the host Arizona Coyotes defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-1 Tuesday night for their fourth straight win.

The Coyotes, shut out in three of their first four games, have been one of the most prolific scoring teams in the league lately, with 20 goals in their last four games.

Galchenyuk, acquired via trade from the Montreal Canadiens in the off-season, is the latest to join the party. At 4:09 of the first period, he stripped the puck from Ottawa's Mark Stone just in front of the net and used his reach to slide a shot past Ottawa goalie Mike Condon.

Brad Richardson soon doubled the Coyotes' lead. Michael Grabner won a puck battle at the end boards and circled around the net before slipping a pass to Richardson in the slot, who buried a short-side offering at 6:33 of the first period.

Condon's night was done when Derek Stepan made it a 3-0 at 15:30 of the first period. With the Coyotes shorthanded, Stepan wristed the puck from inside his own blue line and watched as it bounced a couple of times before sneaking past Condon, who surrendered three goals on 11 shots.

It's the sixth shorthanded goal of the season for Arizona, and fifth in a three-game stretch -- a feat matched only once before in franchise history.

Alex Formenton, Ottawa's 2017 second-round draft choice, gave the visitors a bit of life with his first NHL tally 8:20 into the second period, but Richard Panik restored Arizona's three-goal lead just 22 seconds later.

Arizona captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored his first goal of the season with a power-play tally at 10:25 of the third period to round out the scoring.

Craig Anderson stopped 22 shots in relief for Ottawa, which has dropped four straight games.
